The Annual Meeting of Wolvey Parish Council will be held at Wolvey Baptist Chapel on Monday 19th June at 7.30 pm to consider the business set out in the Agenda below.

8. PLANNING
(a) To consider the Parish Council’s response to consultation/decision notice in respect of the following new planning application:
R17/0920 – Garden Cottage, Leicester Road, Wolvey Heath LE10 3HJ – proposed first floor side extension.

(b) To note the response sent by the Clerk, under delegated powers following consultation with parish councillors, in respect of the following two planning applications:

(i) no. R17/0838 – 17 Croft Close, Wolvey – erection of first floor side extension – no objection.
(ii) no. R17/0300 - Meadow View, Wolvey House Barns, Wolds Lane, Wolvey – - no objection be raised to (A) the wheelie bin storage unit;

- the parish council objects to (B) – the children’s wendy house and (C) – children’s climbing frame on the following grounds:

(a) the conditions which were part of the original planning application should remain and be complied with to protect the character of the property and ensure it is in keeping with its surroundings; and
(b) the detrimental impact on neighbouring properties.

9. FINANCIAL MATTERS

To consider the following financial matters relating to the Parish Council:

(a) To consider authorisation of the following payments:
(i) Clerk’s salary, allowances and expenses: To be advised
(ii) WS Gardens (grass cutting): £432.00
(iii) Wolvey Baptists – invoice nos. 232 & 233– room hire - £12.00
(iv) Bulkington Silver Band –Wolvey Christmas Switch-on - December 2016 - £50.00
(v) Ruth Buswell – reimbursement for purchase of plants, compost etc for WEC - £88.98(vi) WS Gardens (removal of leaf debris from Church Hill) - £60.00
(b) To receive notice of any income
.
(c) Other Financial Matters:
To note the monthly direct debits to OPUS energy:
Street Lighting - 19 April – 19 May - £442.03
(d) To record the account figures for Unity Trust Bank account.
