60 Years of a Village at Play Exhibition
2nd June 2012

Wolvey Village Hall
The 60 Years of a Village in Play Project culminated in the village hall being transformed into an exciting, interactive exhibition, as artists and community members installed display boards, projection screens, hung exhibits from the rafters, decked out a gazebo, laid out table top displays and much more.

Wolvey Environmental Group exhibited  its display at the rear of the
village hall where seats were arranged in a cafe style. Here visitors
were provided with a range of puzzles whilst they enjoyed refreshments.

The cafe area was extremely busy throughout the exhibition and
most of the visitors took time out to view the group's display.

Members of the Environmental Group also constructed large maps
of the village where areas of play over the last 60 years were identified.

The maps exhibit proved very popular with a steady stream of visitors
enjoying a nostalgic look back at play over the last 60 years.
