Is an outreach event organised by Wolvey Church with the aim of
letting primary aged children and younger learn more about the
meaning of Easter. Good Friday Club started in 2005
and has met every year since, on Good Friday morning. The
children spend time singing action songs and making crafts with
an Easter theme in the village hall, followed by a procession to
Wolvey Church, where they take part in an informal time of
worship. As the children leave, they are each given a hot cross
bun.
The Club has always been blessed with plenty of willing
adult helpers. Some people who attended Good Friday Club when
they were younger return to help and some are now bringing their
own children!
If you would like to join in the fun next
year, save the date!
